I am a licensed psychologist specializing in clinical and neuropsychology. I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate education. I obtained my doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University. I completed my internship at the University of Missouri Health Science Consortium in Columbia Missouri.
I continued my training as a post- doctoral fellow at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York specializing in neuropsychology and rehabilitation. I went on to work at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Center in Oklahoma City.
I returned to Miami and opened my own practice where I strive to provide effective, functional and individualized care. I am dedicated to working with people to facilitate changes that reduce stress, improve daily functioning, promote growth and increase overall well-being.
My professional memberships include American Psychological Association (APA), National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and Florida Psychological Association (FPA). I am a Medicare provider.
I am a solo practitioner and place importance on highly personalized care. Psycho-education and evidence-based techniques are at the core of my therapeutic approach. Mindfulness skills and habit training are essential proponents that I incorporate into all therapy as well. I strive to empower people to face life’s challenges and gain a unique understanding of themselves and their environment. I believe that healthy lifestyle changes and strong coping strategies are important skills that can be learned and ultimately used to increase one’s capacity to live a happy, healthy and meaningful life. I provide both in office and/or telehealth treatment.
